Winkworth Arboretum – Visitor Centre Project
Created in the early 20th century by Dr Wilfrid Fox, Winkworth Arboretum has been maintained by
the National Trust for over 60 years and has built up a nationally significant collection of more than
1,000 different species of shrubs and trees, many of them rare.
Brief:
As part of Winkworth’s new visitor centre project, I was commissioned to illustrate a 2D map for interpretation graphics and printed literature. In addition, I was commissioned to illustrate 4 tree species, relevant to the site. These large illustrations have been printed onto plywood for display in the new visitor centre.
